Burninglake Arts

In early 2004, I discovered the art of the One Of A Kind fashion doll. This hobby is a sort of irony for me, as my dolls were always kept in pristine condition, but the OOAK scene involves removing factory paint, restyling or rerooting factory hair, and making new close. Sometimes, dolls are further destroyed from their originals by rooting eyelashes or sawing off legs to create a mermaid. While I have not done anything so drastic yet, I do take inspiration for my dolls from any place I can.

Here are images and descriptions of the dolls I have made thus far (all but doll #5, as I still have not gotten around to taking any pictures). I started learning this art in the middle of my EverQuest days, so my dolling beginnings were inspired from there.
